The School of Life

I thought this movie had a meaningful moral as you can't always get what you want. Stanley decided to go to his class as he may learn something but his friend decided to skip the class. It turned out that that was going to be the most important lesson of their lives, the meaning of life. Stanley had yo sit next to Garth, and he had the sheets with all the answers. Garth wouldn't share with him. Stanley went looking for the teacher but she simply told him this was life. He wanted answers but he was cruelly denied them.

Was it really being cruel? Maybe Stanley still hadn't understood and this was one way that the teacher could really emphasise it.
When Stanley meets up with his friend later on, what, do you think, will he tell him about the lesson?
